Toshiba SmartPad Specs Leak, to Be Called Folio 100
More details about Toshiba's tablet have leaked out, including a name change. Instead of SmartPad, the tablet will supposedly be called the Folio 100.
Notebook Italia, the same site responsible for the previous Toshiba SmartPad leak, reports it has discovered the full specs for the device. They are:
OS: Android 2.2

Audio: 2 stereo speakers and microphone 0.5 W
Storage: 16GB internal memory

Ports: HDMI, USB 2.0 standard, USB 2.0 mini audio jack
Card reader: SD (up to 32GB) MMC
Battery: 1020mAh, 3.7V, 22600mWh. Up to 7 hours of life with mixed use
Internet: Opera Mobile Browser with Flash 1.10
Productivity suite of office applications, PDF reader, ebook reader and RSS aggregator
Multimedia: 1.3 MP Webcam
Dimensions: 281 x 181 x 14mm

Accessories: IR transmitter and housing
Notebook Italia also reports that Toshiba is planning to create its own app store for the Folio, which seems a bit counterintuitive given that there are already 70,000 Android apps available for Android devices such as this one.
While Android 2.2 with an Opera Mobile browser and Flash support should be a great combination, 16GB of storage and only 7 hours of battery life are pretty mediocre and might prevent the Folio from standing out among the avalanche of coming Android tablets.
