Leaked LG Windows Phone 7 Device Has 1.3GHz Processor
The smartphone spec war continues, this time with a phone that technically doesn't exist yet and an operating system that hasn't been released.
The LG E900 is a Windows Phone 7 device that has been featured in several leaked photos, so that's not what's interesting about this leak. Instead, Android.com.pl got some face time with the LG E900 and found out that it's running a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor .
By comparison, the fastest smartphone processors currently available is 1GHz and even the most powerful netbooks usually only have a 1.6GHz processor. Given the snappy performance of Windows Phone 7 seen on test devices so far, this processor should make the LG E900 one extremely fast phone.
The E900 comes with a 3.7-inch display and a minimalist design similar to other Windows Phone 7 devices. It also comes with GPS, high definition video playback, a 3.5mm headphone jack, miniUSB connector and 3G connectivity. But the real benefit of the faster processor will be 2-D and 3-D graphics acceleration.
