A new interactive iPad app could change the way people watch TV in the future.
To promote ABC’s new show My Generation, iPad users can download an "ABC’s My Generation Sync" app that allows users to interact with exclusive content – from quizzes and polls to behind the scenes information -- pushed to the iPad while watching an episode in real time.
iPad users can also use the ABC’s My Generation sync app while watching recorded episodes of My Generation.
The service requires no additional equipment and is designed to be easy to use. To get started, iPad users just turn on the TV, tune in to ABC’s My Generation, launch the app and hit the sync button to get started.
ABC’s My Generation is a new documentary series that follows a group of high school students from Texas as they prepare for graduation back in 2000, and then revisits these former classmates ten years later.
Nielsen’s Media-Sync Platform powers the synchronization between TV and iPad.
