Logitech to Unveil New Google TV Products

On Oct. 6 in New York City, Logitech will host a special event to unveil its new line of products for the soon-to-be-released Google TV .
Hosted by Junien Labrousse, Logitech’s Executive VP of Products, the event will be Logitech’s first showing of a number of devices that will work with Google TV, a platform that will integrate TV, the Internet, and apps.
To date, Logitech has announced its companion box -- an external device that connects to the TV through an HDMI port -- an intuitive controller, and a smartphone app . No details have emerged yet about the new products.
“While Google TV will enable access and discovery to all of your digital conten t, Logitech will enable the seamless control over how you experience that content,” reads a Logitech press release about the partnership.
Following Logitech’s event, Sony will unveil its first Google TV product on Oct. 12.
