Correction: Only 9 Percent of iPad Owners Haven't Downloaded Apps

Last week, Nielsen Company posted the shocking results of a study that showed one-third of iPad owners had never bothered to download an app. It turns out that the number was indeed too shocking to be true as Nielsen has posted a correction.
Nielsen says that the chart in the original report was mislabeled. It turns out that a much-more-believable 9 percent of iPad owners have never downloaded an app. Considering the number of fun or useful free apps, it's still surprising that anyone has neglected to download at least one, but it's much more believable that over 90 percent of owners have.
