Facebook Planning Mobile Announcement on Nov. 3

Facebook has sent out invitations to a press event on November 3. The company is calling it a "Mobile Event," but the invitation indicates little else. Is this going to be about the fabled Facebook Phone?

Well, yes and no, given what the company has said about the possibility of making a Facebook Phone . Facebook denied that it was manufacturing its own phone but also implied a phone with the primary focus of Facebook integration in the user interface.

Given that a "Mobile Event" indicates further integration of Facebook accounts with mobile devices , such an option seems quite likely.

The Facebook press event will take place at Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, California starting at 10:30 a.m. PST.
