Apple Planning iTunes Announcement Tomorrow

The Apple homepage suddenly displayed a cryptic message today, indicating that something big is coming for iTunes.

The new Apple homepage, which early reports indicate is only visible in the U.S., says "Tomorrow is just another day. That you'll never forget." Then it promises an "exciting announcement" for iTunes.

This comes on the heels of an update to iTunes 10.1 , last week. So far there's no indication of what the announcement will entail, but speculation includes music in the cloud, wireless syncing, Apple TV apps, more video content and even a wild wish for the Beatles music to be released (good luck with that).

The Apple teaser says the announcement will happen at 10 a.m. ET tomorrow but doesn't specify where or how the announcement will happen. Place your bets now.
