Dell Duo Tablet Might Be Out Next Week
Remember that strange Dell hybrid netbook/tablet with the rotating screen? It might be launching as early as this coming Tuesday.
The Dell Inspiron Duo will be officially released on November 23, according to industry sources. Dell will have it available for order, though final pricing is still a mystery.
Dell's answer to the iPad combines the familiarity and versatility of a netbook with the ease and simplicity of a tablet, all by making the 10-inch touchscreen display swivel inside a frame.
The Inspiron Duo is expected to have a dual-core Atom processor and run Windows 7, which has proved problematic as a touchscreen interface in the past.
Pre-orders are supposed to be available later this week when the Microsoft store in Bellevue, Washington opens.
