Just as predicted, Dell decided to finally announce the essential information about the netbook/tablet hybrid it's been teasing for weeks. The Inspiron Duo will be available in the first week of December for $549.
Dell says pre-orders will start soon, for those who want to reserve one. Pricing will also range depending on the additional features customers request. For instance, larger hard drive capacities and a JBL speaker dock are available add-ons.
Other details from Dell include a dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor, 2GB of RAM, a Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator, 250GB of storage and Windows 7 Home Premium. The Inspiron Duo will come in "Marlin" blue, "Foggy Night" black and "Fastback" red. The rotating display is a 10-inch, 1366 x 768 pixel resolution capacitive touchscreen.
