Blabber Meter Shows the Cost of Endless Chatter
If you give this as a gift, make sure your recipient has a bullet-proof sense of humor. The Blabber Meter is a a desk clock that tallies the dollars spent in useless conversations, marital arguments, long meetings and never-ending phone calls.
Creator Brad Johnson's inspiration for the Blabber Meter came from working at a company that regularly held four hour weekly staff meetings. At the end of each meeting, he walked away wondering, what did that accomplish?
The Blabber Meter has a large illuminated start button, runs on two AAA batteries , delivers 15-minute blabber reminders and calculates an hourly blabber rate in $5 an hour increments — a far cry from attorney rates, but the results are achieved by employing a similar scheme.
If more than one blabberer is involved, the clock can be set to the number of people participating, from one to 99.
The Blabber Meter doubles as a clock when not in Blabber mode. Available online for $24.99.
