4G Tablet Coming to Sprint in 2011

Phones aren't the only thing waiting to go 4G. Carriers want to entice consumers with 4G speeds for tablets, too. For now there are none, but Sprint says it will have a 4G tablet ready next year.

Sprint's WiMAX network beat most other carriers to the 4G punch , and it will also be the network for their upcoming 4G tablet. Sprint executive Paget Alves told Forbes that the company would have it ready in 2011, but declined to give specific information, including a more accurate release date or who the manufacturer would be.

Alves did hint, however, that Sprint would have more than one operating system for its 4G tablets , meaning that there might be an entire line to choose from.
