Keep Tweeting After Death With LivesOn
You may have expired, but your social media account doesn't have to.
A new service called LivesOn promises to keep your Twitter stream going — even after you're dead.
The program uses algorithms to analyze the tweets that you make while in your living form. When you sign up, you get to see what kind of tweets LivesOn produces in your name and give feedback to help refine the process. Then, once you're assured that they will reflect you well into the afterlife, you can sign an executor form, a LivesOn will of sorts, designating someone to take over the account after your demise. They will decide how long to keep your account going posthumously.
The program is currently in its development phase, but the company hopes to bring it to life in the coming months.
Hey, if Elvis Presley can have a Twitter account (even if it is run by a fan), why can't you?
