Lamborghini's Drool-Worthy $4 Million Supercar
All of a sudden, we're very tempted to take a $4 million loan out of the bank.
This past Tuesday at the Geneva Car Show, Lamborghini unveiled its latest model, the Lamborghini Veneno, which is going for around $3.9 million. The car, which is capable of reaching a top speed of 220 miles per hour, is able to go from 0 to 6 miles per hour in a staggering 2.8 seconds, and is aerodynamically built to feel like a dream machine.
Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, unveiled the car during a public display before the show, complete with slick red radial tires and a flashy silver-lined, carbon fiber body that looks a lot like the Batmobile. The name "Veneno" comes from a Spanish fighting bull that killed a toreador in 1914.
The car isn't likely to become a public model due to its staggeringly high price, so for those tycoons who bought the only three models – you have our jealousy.
