T-Mobile’s Valentine: All Phones Free This Weekend
What does T-Mobile do after Verizon and AT&T steal the news with powerful new phones? Something drastic like offering all phones for free.
T-Mobile announced its Valentine’s Day sale that's not exactly on Valentine's Day. On Feb. 11 and 12, all T-Mobile phones will be free with a two-year contract.The deal only applies to phones, so don't expect to get free netbooks or tablets.
"Smartphones offer people incredible flexibility to stay connected and express their love to the people that matter most," said John Clelland, senior vice president of marketing, in a company statement. "T-Mobile's Valentine's promotion makes it easier for anyone to get their favorite smartphone and keep connected on America's largest 4G network."
Now T-Mobile's 4G isn't as fast as other networks , and it doesn't have the best phones , but free is still an awfully good deal for the myTouch 4G, the HD7, the G2 and the Vibrant. And don't be surprised if there is a mail-in rebate required to get the full refund of the purchase price, but if you're shopping for a nice phone at a better price, this is your opportunity.
Just make sure to spend more on your girl than you do on your phone, Casanova.
