New for Spring: HD Video Pocket Camera

Samsung today announced yet another new compact digital camera to its Spring lineup: the PL20 with a sticker price of $120, that’s $10 less than its video-capable ST95 announced last month.
Available in red, pink, silver and black, the 14-megapixel camera shoots 720p HD video and sports a 5X optical lens and comes equipped with novelty filters, various auto shooting modes and smile detection. Its included Li-ion battery eliminates the need to stock up on AAA batteries .
Today’s announcement also included the $100 ES80, another compact digital camera, but without video capability. This one will be available at retail stores in April.
