Wouldn't it be great if you could make a rotary phone an Internet -ready device? An Israeli modder over at Instructables thought so.
He has constructed a rotary phone that tweets emoticons, so you no longer have to go searching through menus when you want to say you're happy, or sad, or disgusted. The whole thing requires some work and that you gut the phone itself, but if you want to get that retro feel then there's nothing like it.
Besides, it makes multitasking easier -- no more trying to make sure you don't drop a mobile phone in the soup when in the kitchen.
