A Kinect Accessory For Small Spaces
|
If you own a Kinect then you probably know that it requires a certain amount of space in front of it to work properly. After all, when playing most gesture-based games you're likely to jump around a bit.
For those of us that live in apartments where a 45-inch TVs take up wall space and the coffee table leaves less room, the Kinect was nowhere near as much fun. Nyko has a partial solution. Called the Zoom, it's basically a set of "glasses" for a Kinect that allow it to see gestures in a smaller area.
This is good for accommodating two-player games in the dorm or studio, and at a price of $29.99 it isn't exorbitant. Release is scheduled for August 23.
