Ready to Roar: Apple Stores Geared Up for OS X Lion
Apple retail stores have reportedly been receiving hard drives of the latest operating system Lion, which is expected to be released to the public any day now, according to MacRumors.
Although Apple previously confirmed that the new operating system OS X Lion would launch in July, rumors have been circulating that Wednesday may be the day.
The final version, or Golden Master copy, of OS X Lion Golden Master software is now at various Apple stores , and according to MacRumors, the Golden Master copy of software is typically the final version of the development stage.
The new operating system will be priced at $29 and feature updates to multitouch, app interaction and more . It will be available for download from the Apple's App Store for Mac.
The report also indicated that Apple is expected to release Lion alongside new MacBook Airs .
