The latest Digital SLR cameras shoot HD video, but the fact remains that holding one steady (or any camera) is a problem for those without a full Steadicam setup. But Ben Millett, an industrial designer and photographer, is hoping people will express enough interest in his DuoPod product to get him backing for mass production.
The MountKestrel is basically a combination bipod and mini-Steadicam that smooths out motion and also supports a camera for stationary filming. So go to his web site and spread the word. (Millett also has some pretty cool electronic music on his videos).
