Apple Unveils New iCloud Pricing Plan

Apple unveiled the new pricing plan for its iCloud storage service, which will cost $20 per year to add 10GB of space, $40 per year for 20GB and $100 per year for 50GB.

This pricing plan only covers the charge of extending iCloud storage . Apple has already said that iCloud users will receive 5GB of storage free, and Photo Stream images (which stay in the cloud for 30 days) will not count against the storage limit. Effectively, this means the prices represent 15GB, 25GB and 55GB of storage.

Extended storage plans can be purchased for iCloud.com through the settings application of iOS 5.
