iPhones Get the Fisheye
Panoramic shots are a fun thing to have when you want a memento of your trip, but you don't want to be splicing them together from a mosaic or using one of those el-cheapo drug store cameras. Well, as the saying goes, there's an app for that.
Pixeet has an app and lens that fits on iPhones (both the 3G and 4). The lens creates the panoramic view and the software takes care of the rest. If you don't have an iPhone you can still use the panoramic lens, which the company sells for $49.99. The fisheye lens will also work with video. It's certainly cheaper than a professional-quality digital SLR fisheye lens, which can set you back hundreds of dollars.
One thing to remember is the resolution on a phone camera is unlikely to be as good as a prosumer SLR, but if you're buying this lens for your iPhone in the first place that's probably less of a concern.
