Robot Alarm Clock Stops Snooze Button Abuse
|
Getting up in the morning is a chore. There aren't many ways to make it fun, but Nanda is making a shot at it with a variation on the alarm clock that is probably better than knocking your smartphone off the night table.
Clocky and Tocky (Clocky is in the picture) are for people that have a lot of trouble waking up and have a habit of hitting the snooze button until they are late for class or work, Clocky is designed to make that harder to do. It's a small robot alarm clock that actually runs away (though not too fast). To get the alarm to stop requires getting out of bed and chasing the thing down.
Clocky uses wheels, while Tocky is more of a rolling ball. The latter plays mp3s or recorded messages as well. For sound sleepers (or anyone who wants to get a surly teenager out of bed this can either make waking up more fun or drive the owner crazy.
