Firefox 6 Browser Now Available Ahead of Aug. 16 Launch

The next version of Mozilla's Firefox Web browser is available right now, several days ahead of its scheduled launch.
Firefox 6 will officially launch on Aug. 16, but Mozilla has made it available already on its website. While the interface doesn't change much, there are several new improvements under the surface. The biggest benefit that users will likely notice is a 20 percent increase in speed.
There is a new version for Mac, Windows and Linux, and Mozilla has a version for the Android mobile operating system as well.
