Google has put its vast network of resources to use in helping people on the East Coast prepare for Hurricane Irene.
Google has put together its CrisisMap with information that can show various reports and predictions about Irene's path, as well as up-to-date warnings, weather reports and news about how areas are affected. The CrisisMap will also track reports about the secondary effects of Irene, including storm surges and flooding .
If you or those you know are in Irene's path , use this tool to stay informed. It is also embeddable in other websites.
