Sony Tablet S on Pre-Order, Ships Sept. 16

Sony's unique take on the Android tablet, called the Tablet S, finally has a definite price and release date. Sony said the Tablet S will ship on Sept. 16, and pre-orders are available now.
The Sony Tablet S will cost $500 for the 16GB version and $600 for the 32GB version. Both feature the curved plastic flap on the back meant to be reminiscent of a folded back magazine. They come with a 9.4-inch screen and run Android 3.2.
Sony's other upcoming Android tablet, the dual-screen clamshell tablet formerly known as the S2 and now called the Tablet P, still has no official price or release date.
