Google Launches Sleek Flight Search Tool
Google has launched a sharp, seamless airline search tool called Google Flight Search that provides quick access to flight information and fares.
To access the feature, users can go to Google.com/Flights or type a flight-related search into the main Google search engine, such as "flights from San Francisco to Minneapolis." On the results page, clicking “flights” reveals a list of flight options for that search.
After selecting an outbound flight, the page shows which return flights match your results. Users can also use filters, such as non-stop flights and price, and the research results are almost instantaneous.
he results display can also be laid out on a Google Map to help travelers decide where to go. Users can type in their departure city and look around the map for different options. This can be filtered by price and duration, such as an outbound flight from San Francisco under $300 and under three hours of travel time.
