iPads Can Be Phones

The iPad is a very cool device, no doubt. But can you make phone calls with it? Toktumi has an app that just may enable the iPad to function like a stand-alone phone, and best of all, not use up your minutes.
It's called line2. It adds a second line to any iPhone (or Android phone for that matter). The best part though, is that you can link it to an iPad and make Wi-Fi calls. This is good for areas where cell service can be spotty (usually indoors). Another big selling point is that line2 saves money -- there's no need to get a whole other AT&T contract (or Verizon) to use it. Even with the $10 a month cost of line2 it is still a savings.
The only downside is that the iPad doesn't have a normal speaker/mic setup -- odds are you'll need a typical headphones/hands free set.
