FreshDirect Launches Android App

To make it even easier to shop for groceries, Internet grocery service FreshDirect has launched a free app for Android users.

The New York City-based company – which delivers fresh-from-the-farm foods and brand-name groceries to the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut areas – allows consumers to search and buy products through the app from virtually anywhere.

Android users can add products to their cart, shop from previous orders and shopping lists, change existing orders and select from early-morning to late-night delivery available time slots through the app.

FreshDirect already has an iPhone app which boasts the same features.
