Build a Pocket Guitar Amp

Every kid who gets an electric guitar likes to rock out, but dragging around an amp is cumbersome. In this age of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets it seems odd that there’s no good way to carry around an amp.
That’s where the “milli-AMP” comes in. A DIY project from one of the good people at Instructables, it’s a fully-functional guitar amp that fits in your pocket, and built from parts that are readily available at the average Radio Shack.
For people that live in apartments, it might also be a great alternative to a full-size amplifier, as many of those end up doubling as side tables.
