Touch screen devices, be they smartphones or tablets, can be tough to actually type on. While there are keyboards for iPads out there, the one problem is that lugging around a keyboard is just difficult to do. Verbatim has a solution: a keyboard that folds.
Called simply the Wireless Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard, It doesn’t quite fold into a pocket, but it is small enough to carry around in a handbag and has the same “feel” that we expect on a desktop or laptop. It’s thin, and has dedicated keys for controlling iTunes. It also can mount an iPhone in landscape mode, making it easier to do things like type an email. So far it is only made in iPhone and iPad models and connects via Bluetooth, as the name implies. (There's no USB connection for those that like wires).
It sells for $79.99 from Amazon.com, putting it squarely in the mainstream of others like it. This is a very helpful item for those people who find typing anything longer than a Tweet on a phone-sized screen a chore.
