Pinterest, the newest, hottest social media network, is attracting everyone from moms sharing cheese bread recipes to savvy marketers trying to figure out how to get in on the action.
The site, which calls itself, an "online pin board," differs from other social media platforms in that it is more about what you love, own, make, covet or buy, rather than who you know or what you looked like in high school. It has attracted a largely female user base and the user experience is more like flipping through a lifestyle magazine than the flow chart-like process of organizing your friends and preferences into time lines, circles or groups.
And while Pinterest has gotten lots of attention from all manner of media, many still aren't sure how or if they should use it. BusinessNewsDaily's sister site, LaptopMag.com, has created an in-depth and easy to use "how to" guide to get you started on Pinterest, whether you're looking to use if for business or pleasure.
