4-in-1 Charger Wipes Out Wall Warts
|
If you have more than one device in your house, you have wall warts — unsightly plug-in chargers that eat up outlets. One solution is the iDAPT, which has models for two, three and four devices.
These chargers have interchangeable plugs (called "tips"), and work something like a dock: you just plug the device into it directly. Besides iPhones, iPods and Blackberries, the chargers can also fit game controllers or headsets. The styling is aesthetically pleasing — it looks like a piece of modern décor rather than techie equipment.
The company’s website allows you to check whether your device is compatible with the available tips. On top of that you can order either the default set, with six, or a custom set of four (for an extra $2.63).
The price is competitive with other chargers. It ranges from $40, for charging two devices, to $60 for four.
