The Wii has consistently been one of the cheapest gaming consoles on the market for some time now, but when buying the extra games and controllers that don't come with the console, it's anything but cheap.
Now a new Wii bundle, which comes in an optional black finish instead of the traditional Wii white, will offer a bit of a discount for Wii buyers even though the price hasn't changed.
The new black Wii console will still be $199, as it was previously, but the console will be bundled with the new Wii Sports Resort game , in addition to the original Wii Sports game, and the new Motion Plus controller add-on that makes the Wii more accurate .
Before this bundle, the Sports Resort game and Motion Plus add-on were sold in a separate bundle that cost $49. Now consumers basically get them for free with the purchase of a Wii.
Other than that, the Wii console will be basically the same , and owners will still need to purchase controllers separately if they want more than one Wiimote and Nunchuk controller.
The new Wii bundle will be available in the U.S. on May 9.
