Dell Tablet Computer Coming to AT&T This Summer
Dell's Streak tablet, formerly called the Mini 5, has been something of an open secret in the electronics industry, but now Dell's CEO, Michael Dell, has made it official by showing the Streak at the Citrix Synergy conference.
Dell revealed the Streak will indeed have a 5-inch touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera, as previously reported. He also confirmed that it runs Google's Android operating system .
The Streak will launch only in Europe at first, on the O2 Telefonica network, but "later this summer" it will be available through AT&T in the United States. Dell did not give any details on what kind of 3G connection contracts will be available through AT&T or if they would be similar to the iPad 3G contract .
Dell did not comment on the second, larger tablet the company is said to have in development .
