Does Leather Sound Better?

Like many German brands, Sennheiser is known for pricy, luxury electronics. But a fancy flair on a new set of headphones makes a difference — and not for too much money. Instead of using a synthetic material, Sennheiser's new Momentum cans have padding wrapped in real leather.
Technically, that doesn't do anything for the sound, but it makes the listening much more comfortable. And the audio is fantastic in any case. A collection of music from hard rock to ballads sounded clean and clear.
And unlike many Sennheiser products, such as its $899 in-ear pair of in-ear phones, the Momentum will cost a not-insane $349 when they hit that market in the next couple of weeks.
