It seems that leaving secret prototypes lying around is in style lately. Remember the iPhone 4G that was left in a bar? Well now a secret Motorola DROID Shadow handset has been carelessly left in a gym locker room.
The DROID Shadow has been rumored for a while as Motorola's followup to the popular DROID that launched on the Verizon network. Although the DROID Shadow spec rumors have been much more impressive. Fortunately, this leaked phone has confirmed several of those juicy rumors.
The DROID Shadow will run the most recent version of the Android platform , have an 8 megapixel camera that can shoot 720p HD video, 16GB of internal storage, the latest Snapdragon processor, HDMI port and a 4.3-inch touchscreen.
According to the gym employee who found the phone, the device was remotely locked after it was found (presumably when the owner realized it was missing). The man who came to pick it up after it was lost confirmed the above features.
While it's not clear when the Shadow will be released, it is destined for the Verizon network, so Verizon customers have another powerful Android phone to look forward to.
