Adobe Shockwave Open to Attack
Adobe Shockwave Player contains a critical security flaw that leaves it open to remote attack.
The vulnerability, detailed in an Oct. 21 Adobe security bulletin, exists in version 126.96.36.1992 and earlier versions for both Windows and Mac. Exploiting the bug on the popular media player software could allow a person to take control and crash the affected system.
Adobe has not fixed the issue, but says that no attacks have been reported.
