Simple Button Sequence Can Hack iPhone
A security flaw exists in the iPhone that could allow someone to gain access to the phone's stored contact information by simply entering a specific sequence of buttons.
Reported by intomobile.com, the hack requires someone to press the Emergency Call button in the bottom left of the password-locked entry screen, enter any number, and then immediately put the smartphone to sleep by hitting the End Call and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously.
Once that sequence is finished, and without entering any password, the Phone App data is revealed, which allows the hacker access to contact information and voicemails . No other phone information, such as text messages, can be retrieved, and the hacker cannot access the phone software.
