Adobe to Rush Release Patch for Critical Flash Flaw

Adobe has pushed up the release date to Nov. 4 for a patch to fix a critical flaw in its Flash program, reported the security firm Kaspersky Lab.
Discovered Oct. 28, the extremely critical vulnerability targets Adobe's popular Flash Player 10.x, and can be exploited to gain control to a user's system.
Adobe planned to release a fix for the problem on Nov. 9, but will now release a patch Nov. 4. The patch will fix the bug for users of Windows, Mac, Linux and Solaris. The fix for Flash on Android is still set for a Nov. 9 release.
A patch for a flaw currently affecting Adobe Reader will not be available until Nov. 15.
