Firefox Browser Update Fixes 8 Security Flaws
Mozilla has released an updated version of its popular Firefox Web browser that fixes eight security flaws, five of which could allow an attacker to take control of targeted systems without the user's knowledge.
Released yesterday (June 21), Firefox 5 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android "includes more than 1,000 improvements and performance enhancements that make it easier to discover and use all of the innovative features in Firefox," Mozilla wrote in its announcement.
The Android version of the new Firefox also includes the Do Not Track feature, "making Firefox the first browser to support Do Not Track on multiple platforms."
To update your browser to Firefox 5, click on "check for update" under the "About Firefox" menu, or visit Mozilla's website.
