iPhone Coming to Verizon, For Serious This Time

For the past five years, rumors of the iPhone coming to Verizon have haunted the Internet, tantalizing and disappointing smart phone fans with equal frequency. But with Apple’s exclusive contract with AT&T drawing to a close, a Verizon iPhone may hit the shelves as soon as January, according to Bloomberg News.
By adding Verizon service, the iPhone gains access to a much faster wireless network, and possibly avoid many of the dropped calls that infuriate many iPhone users.
From a business perspective, this move could potentially boost Verizon and Apple, both could drastically expand the customer base of both companies.
