Google Nexus One Smartphone Permanently Sold Out
It seems like only days ago that the Google Nexus One smartphone was wowing tech journalists everywhere with a brilliant screen and excellent Android interface. But those days are no more as Google has discontinued the phone completely.
It shouldn't come as a surprise, though, because Google has hinted this would happen. The company decided to let its supply of phones run out and then halt sales after that. It may still be possible to get the phone through certain retail channels or second-hand on sites like eBay, but for all intents and purposes, the Nexus One is no longer for sale.
While the Nexus One was well received by reviewers, it didn't quite have the fantastic sales Google was hoping for. It's unclear when or even if Google will follow up with another phone.
