New iPhones and iPads aren't the only things to come out of Apple this week. The biggest company in the world also released a massive iTunes update that fixes 163 bugs.
ITunes 10.7 is the biggest changeup to Apple’s music program we’ve seen in a while. Many of the under-the-hood security fixes it includes are for Webkit, the underlying software for many Web browsers and the component iTunes uses to connect to the Internet. In the update advisory on its website, Apple said the update fixes "multiple corruption issues ... through improved memory handling."
The update also brings with it changes to the interface, including a uniform shopping experience across all media platforms from books to music to apps.
