LG Says Android Tablet Coming Q4 2010
The launch of the LG Optimus Z for Korean carriers wouldn't have meant much for Korea except for a tidbit of information LG dropped in at the end of the Optimus Z announcement. Apparently the LG Android tablet is coming in a matter of months.
The Optimus Z is likely to have a worldwide release at some unannounced time, but the LG Android tablet will be coming in Q4 2010, according to a statement from the company. The fourth quarter starts in a little over a month, which seems a little soon considering we haven't heard much about the LG tablet so far.
Of course, "Q4 2010" is likely to resolve into "holiday 2010" pretty soon, which would put its release date at the same time as a slew of other Android tablets that will be released some time around the month of November.
There are not other details about the LG Android tablet, although the company said it would be considered part of the Optimus family of devices that the newly announced Optimus Z smartphone belongs to.
