HTC Planning Android Froyo Update for Smartphones

Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has been using the Android operating system on a majority of its phones, but not all the same version. For those wishing their HTC phone was running the latest 2.2 Froyo version of Android, HTC has some good news for you.
HTC Europe Director Mark Moons tweeted yesterday that the company would begin a rolling update to HTC phones today. HTC hedged by saying it might start the update process today , but there is still some last minute testing to do. Either way, HTC owners should be getting Android Froyo 2.2 soon.
The update won't happen all at once but will occur in waves, starting with the HTC Desire.
