Kindle For iPad App Updated with Dictionary and Search
Those who chose to go with the Kindle e-book store without buying the Kindle are in luck, if they use Apple products, that is. The updated version of the Kindle app for Apple iOS4 (iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch) has been updated.
The new version of the Kindle for iPad app includes some very useful features, including a dictionary lookup function that has 250,000 definitions. Even more useful, depending on the book, is a search feature that can instantly search the contents of an e-book for whatever keywords you provide. The Kindle app has also got a streamlined way to look up a word on Google or Wikipedia without manually pulling up a browser first.
There were also a few other improvements in the new 2.2 version of the Kindle app , but they are mostly unremarkable things such as improved line-spacing on the iPad and bug fixes for iOS4 devices.
