Flash Available for Jailbroken iPhones
There's a new option for iPhone users who are tired of not being able to view online videos on their phone. Adobe Flash is available for the iPhone through a new software port called Frash.
First the bad news: Frash will only work on iPhones that have been jailbroken, which shouldn't be a surprise given Apple's feelings about Flash.
But for those who are willing to void their warranty or who have already jailbroken their iPhones, Frash will open up a new world of internet content. Or more accurately, it will open up your phone to the same old internet you're used to on a computer.
Frash is available through Cydia, a site full of applications and patches for jailbroken phones. It works on the iPhone 4 , iPhone 3GS and the iPad. After it is installed, Flash content still won't load automatically , but an icon will show Flash content that can be loaded and played with a simple tap.
