Video Reveals HTC Windows Phone 7 Device
As we approach the expected release of Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system for smartphones, we still know relatively little about the devices that will be running it . A new video gives us a glimpse of the upcoming Windows Phone 7 device from HTC.
The video shows a phone surprisingly reminiscent of the previous iPhone in design, but the interface is clearly Windows Phone 7. Unfortunately, problems with the video cut it off before we get a good glimpse at the details. The phone clearly has the 3 touchkeys along the bottom of the phone, as mandated by Microsoft for phones running Windows Phone 7. It also gives a glimpse of an apps page as well as the main interface we've seen in previous demonstrations .
So far, this device is known as the HTC Schubert, although that's likely just the code name because smartphones never make it to market without flashy names like Incredible, Evo and Nexus One.
