Video of Samsung Galaxy Tablet Public Testing
Samsung's upcoming tablet, dubbed the Galaxy Tab, may not be released yet, but an eagle-eyed person spotted someone testing it on a train and got some video.
The verdict, according to the user: It's "awesome."
It was spotted in a train in Australia, of all places. The user, reported to be some some kind of telecommunications worker, confirms the tablet has a 7-inch screen , Android operating system and 3G support before becoming uncomfortable with the stream of questions and declining to answer anymore.
From the video, the operating system is just barely visible. What's more, it appears to be pretty responsive, although the user wouldn't confirm what kind of processor was driving it all.
The good news is that seeing the Samsung Galaxy Tab being tested in public areas is a sure indication that it's close to release (testing outside of secure facilities is one of the last steps in development). As of right now, there are still no details on price or release date.
